Team group Politeknik Merlimau lecture's create and construct to improve the knowledge and hand-on skills our students based on Outcome Base Education (OBE) especially in Geotechnical Engineering .

GeoCamp ( since July 2008 session )

Objectives :

1. to expose students to on site.


2. to improve the knowledge on site testing and management to set-up and handling equipment tests of Geotechnical Engineering.


3. strengthen efforts to improve the employability of polytechnic student's and as a preparation for students before entering the working world.

GeoFest ( since January 2011 session )













Objectives :

1. to achieve outcome base education where student solve the problem by presentation, model and story board.


2. to improve and construct the knowledge our student in Geotechnical Engineering by the problem solving system.


3. strengthen efforts to improve the employability of polytechnic student's and as a preparation for students before entering the working world.

Centre of Technology ( COT )












Objectives :

1. as a soil research centers on melaka focuses in soil stabilization, ground improvement , soil investigation.


2. as a geotechnical engineering consultants for firms of building construction and any related in geotechnical engineering constructions.


3. to collaborated any consultants and contractor related on geotechnical engineering.
